If your wondering what cover this is, it’s the special collector’s edition that came out. I thought maybe it was Barns & Noble only but I was able to get my copy on Amazon. This edition tends to go out of stock often so if you want it, go for it as soon as you see it’s in stock!
Rating this book is hard. I wasn’t amused by the digs at white people. Such as the joke about popping molly and listening to Britney spears. Drug abuse isn’t a punch line. I didn’t like how her white boyfriend was included in the protesting but as he drove the car, all the kids made fun of him and he wasn’t shot down when trying to defend himself.
I think it has great themes but most white people aren’t raciest and most police officers aren’t either. So, it’s not a bad book but i don’t know if I would call it the best book either.
Would I rec this book? Yes. My complaints seem to be a minority ( Most who are hating on the book are going way over board), and this book isn’t really aimed at me either.
